Our Philosophy

More than
technique.

We promote traditional Shotokan not only for physical fitness, but for mental clarity and personal growth — building strength, focus, and self-confidence that reach far beyond the dojo floor.

Rei

Respect

Bow in, bow out. Honour the dojo, the sensei, and your training partners.

Nin

Perseverance

Strength is built one repetition at a time, in stillness as much as in motion.

Sei

Sincerity

Train with honest intent. The body cannot lie when the mind is true.

克己
Kokki

Self-control

Karate begins and ends with discipline of the self before the opponent.

The Dojo

Where the
work happens.

We train traditional SKIF Shotokan karate at Klagshamn Folkets Hus — a well-equipped, easily accessible facility in southern Malmö with on-site parking. Programs welcome both children and adults under strict health and safety standards.
